Ronnie Hall and The Green Onions
"Hall was in great voice. His high octane band was burning on the rockers and mellow-rich on the ballads. Hall did classic R&B and soul tunes that few bands do. The audience responded to this outstanding show by packing the dance floor on every song. A couple of songs that may have resulted in marriage proposals or other loving suggestions were 'One In A Million' and 'Pretty Woman'. Both songs featured superlative tenor solos by award winning saxophonist Mike Reed . |
|||||
Hall also did top-rate renditions of 'Fire Down Below' and ' Who Can It Be Now'. Steve Hitt did good vocals and showed off his banner guitar chops on “The Thrill Is Gone”. Then he knocked out the house with 'No Money Down', featuring his juicy-fat, bottleneck slide. Judging from the ladies going into meltdown, song of the show was 'Rainy Night in Georgia'. Bravo! Bravo! FYI Green Onions is Hall, Reed, Hitt, bassist Dan Smith and drummer Walter Cross." -- Music review by: Jim Short--The SCENE magazine |

Klockwork | |||||
The group consists of eight members who are multi-talented and vocals are self contained, along with a female vocalist when needed. Klockwork has an “ in the pocket “ rhythm section which include (bass and lead guitars, keyboards, and drums) and a “funkanizing “ horn section (trumpet, flugel horn, sax and trombone ). Being a diverse band, allows our songlist to range from Jazz to the Blues and from the Motown sound to Funk with a touch of Disco/Rock and Roll along the way. |
